Oriwu College Old Students Mourn Royal Alumnus, Alaperu Of Iperu

His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu Basibo, Alaperu of Iperu – Remo Kingdom

The Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), has mourned the passage of the Alaperu of Iperu – Remo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu Basibo.

The late Oba Basibo, who attended Oriwu , the premier college in Ikorodu Division, and was a member of the 1975 set, joined his ancestors last Thursday.

OCOSAN national body, in a statement signed by the National President, Alhaji M.B.S. Arole and the National Publicity Secretary, Sholanke Lateef, expressed her condolence to the members of his class set, Basibo family and entire Iperu Kingdom.

“We the entire members of Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), home and abroad, commiserate with the members of 1970-74 Class Set and Iperu Remo Kingdom, on the demise of HRM Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu Basibo, the Alaperu of Iperu-Remo Kingdom.

“We sympathise with the good people of Iperu – Remo Kingdom, on the demise of their monarch, and pray to God Almighty to grant the entire family of Basibo the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
